Thanks man. You probably just saved me hundreds of dollars. I thought they were just ruined. Funny part is I've got a fancy steamer that I barely ever use too haha.
ReplyDeletebut does the tie...like...curves when you leave it rolled for too long...stupid question but im curious
ReplyDeletei wore my favorite tie for graduation and i took it off and laid it down and went to sleep because i was beat. 2 months later i untied it and it was all wrinkled where it was knotted. this was an amazing help thank you so much
ReplyDeleteso i finally got myself a tie rack today, but as i checked out info on the net on the best storage methods, i found no consensus. until now i've more or less rolled my ties when not wearing them.....
ReplyDeleteWhat type of steamer is that ?
ReplyDeleteWait, why the fuck would you rent a tie?
ReplyDeleteWill steam hurt silk?
ReplyDeleteNice vid. What watch are you wearing? Also I have a tie l lent to my son. He put it in the washer and dryer....I know. I'm trying this technique now. Anything else I can do? It is my favorite Donald trump tie.
ReplyDeleteexcellent
ReplyDeleteThank you, this helps.
ReplyDeleteBravo sir!
ReplyDeleteHi, I hand washed my silk necktie and the inside is ruined, is there any recommendation on how to fix or get those wrinkles out? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI had a tie tied for 6 years. The problem was that it was tied too short, so when I untied it there were some angry wrinkles! What I did was wet the wrinkles and laid it flat under my laptop since i have neither an iron nor steamer. Wrinkles were gone once it dried but my laptop gets very hot.=)
ReplyDeleteTouche good sir
ReplyDeleteMy favorite method to get rid of wrinkles in my tie is to roll it up and then place it in the underwear I am wearing. The heat from my balls helps ease the wrinkles out of the fabric quickly. all while producing a Rockstar style bulge. it's really a win-win.
ReplyDeleteThanks A LOT Sir
ReplyDeletegreat video zach. also, nice tie knot..is it a windsor?
ReplyDeleteThat helped me a lot. Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteHow about ironing with a pressing cloth? Thanks for the info
