ReplyDeleteHello Heather,
ReplyDeleteI just found your channel.. And I am amazed!! I think I heard you say you wanted to age gracefully. I am glad I found a lady who was a model that didn't go for the facelift , botox, and so on.. You are fantastic!!

Hypothyroidism can cause the loss of eyebrow hair, especially on the outside edges. It is important to fill them in gently so that you can still have a nice frame to your face.
ReplyDeleteMake up looks great but I didn’t see a difference under the eye. But yours aren’t that bad. Neither are your bowels. You are naturally pretty

Thank you so much for helping me find acceptance of this very normal aging process. No matter what are age, we can feel beautiful and I believe that comes from self-acceptance. I love how you radiate this acceptance and do so with great lightness and humor. xo
ReplyDeleteHer honesty is refreshing, pretty lady indeed
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome!! Thank you hon.
ReplyDeleteHey Heather, just want to say how much I enjoy your videos, not only for the info, and encouragement, but I love your personality and outlook on life. You and Bill are a cool couple too! Keep em' coming, your videos that is! Ciao for now๐
ReplyDeleteAs a woman who wears glasses to see Everything, make up is sometimes difficult to put on. Or maybe tiring from constantly taking glasses off and on LOL ! I'm 59 now and agree 100% Less is More as we mature. Thank you for this fabulous video of tricks keeping it all real ! ❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you Heather, I really love what you did with the under eye powder liner I will definitely be trying that.
ReplyDeleteI think it's so great that you haven't had procedures! (Neither have I, I'm 61.) You look great as you are and your tips are invaluable.
ReplyDeleteLove your tips Heather! I've tried some from your earlier vlogs and have had really good results~ xo
ReplyDeleteGood information thank you. Hurricane is such a cutie xx
ReplyDeleteThe Bert's Bees lipstick is the bees knees! I have never seen the eyeshadows!
ReplyDeletewhy every time i see your post, you look like 10 years more younger? ๐ฎ๐ฎ
ReplyDeleteI just love your videos Heather, you are so genuine and generous. I enjoyed this one very much and found the tips very useful and encouraging. I too have noticed that I can no longer take much make up beneath my eyes as it makes me look harsh and ‘witchy’ but I will try the gentle ‘whoosh’ brush stroke. Thanks for helping sort out those darned hoods. I big problem I have is that my makeup won’t stay put and often ends up under my eyes after a few hours. So I have to make regular trips to the bathroom with my purse to check that I’m not looking like a pantomime dame or some gothic horror! Thanks again awesome one ๐
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! You are a natural teacher. I love how you keep things real for us, you are so relatable!
ReplyDeleteDo you not use foundation, or is your primer tinted? I love all the tips you suggest. I started getting karatosis on my face last year, too. I love how makeup can minimize our flaws.
I pay more attention to my makeup these days than I did in my 20's!
Your videos are always fun & helpful. Thank you guys for doing them. Bill does such a good job with the closeups ๐. Give Hurricane a little hug from me. He is so adorable ๐๐ถ
Wow your eyes look so much bigger and brighter. I have small wrinkled eyes and blonde sparse brows and lashes, but the wonderful techniques you demonstrate give me hope to improve my eye area, even at age 76. Live in Canada, we have Burt s Bee's, but not all the products you show are available, but you have inspired me to use brushes instead of fingers!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Heather. If you smudge your eyeliner a little bit with a brush or sponge tip applicator the white area on top of lashes disappears! You look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather: You keep it so real, which I LOVE! YES, we've all got those same issues, and I'm not going to get anything "done", either. Your makeup tips are on point, and I really enjoy your channel so very much! Have a great weekend with Bill and Hurricane! ❤๐น๐๐ถ Rosemarie xo
ReplyDeleteWow this was so helpful! I have tiny hooded eyes and this helped open them up a bit! Thank you so much ๐๐ป๐๐๐ง♂️
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely Heather and so does Hurricane. Hi Bill!
ReplyDeleteP. S. Heather, I hate saying (and having) "jowls", too!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing heather I will be 63 in January thank you to sharing this video ๐
ReplyDeleteLittle Hurricane always puts a smile on my face. ๐
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of faces, about the only make-up I wear is a lipstain. I was never very skilled (or motivated) in wearing makeup & omg the mistakes I made! I quit wearing it after I saw a pic a friend took of me & a few others. I almost had a heart attack, lol. But I sure do miss my eyelashes. At 56 they're starting to thin out.
Hi Heather. AWESOME video!!! I think that you're beautiful with&without make-up. Your beauty is coming from the inside to make you truly beautiful on the outside. I have to admit that my biggest problem is looking tired&that makes my skin look very dull. I have skin discoloration here&there, as well. I've become a connect the dot girl on my face, neck,&chest; It's a hereditary thing. I'm looking more&more like my Mom & Grandmother's. This is a compliment to them, they all aged extremely well:). The only difference is, they all coloured their hair; I'm a believer in letting mother nature be my colourist. I've never worn a lot of makeup, because I took very good care of my skin. Now that I'm older, learning a few tricks to hide the age spots&discolouration on my beautiful face is key. Heather, your tips&tricks are really helpful. Thank you for being so upfront & real about a subject that can be quite difficult for some. Heather, you're such a sweet heart. Hello Bill& Hurricane. Looking forward to more&more videos from you, AWESOME ONES. Love you guys!!!:)
ReplyDeleteI love this video! So helpful to me! I am putting into practice what you teach in these videos and my daughter told me it makes a huge difference in how I look. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI’m over 60, and honestly, make up seems so difficult now! What worked before no longer looks good- not looking to turn back the clock, just want to enhance my beauty. This video helps Heather!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your sides are lovely! Made up or sans makeup. You are beautiful inside and out. I always enjoy your joyful, peaceful, helpful presence. Jowel is definitely an ugly word. I hate to use it myself.
ReplyDeleteReally awesome!!!๐
ReplyDeleteI just love your honesty and skill. Thanks for sharing. Off to try some of those tips. ❤ Marty.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather. I love your style. We have to remember when we get a little more mature that too much make up makes us look older. This vlog nails it! Really well done.
ReplyDeleteI work with transgender so the make up I do for a male to female transformation is so similar to mature make up. A lot more thinking has to go into it but once you get into a routine it’s simple.
Stay keeping it real and awesome. Absolutely love your “ uniqueness “. I once told you you were in my top two lifestyle gurus. You’re now number 1️⃣๐ฅ. Best wishes from Liverpool UK ๐ฌ๐ง
As always love your tips and tricks for us mature ladies. I love your video's.
ReplyDeleteGreat video. Love how you use affordable products with a realistic application that we can all follow. Keep these coming please! Have a great day!
