Fish Oil and Wrinkles - How They Are Connected

Some of you may have heard that there is a correlation between the dietary intake of fish oil and wrinkles. Well, the connection between the two has only been fully realized over the last few years, as more and more benefits from the use of fish oil as a dietary supplement began to appear. It seems as though this is the one nutritional supplement that is good for almost everything.

It has been discovered that a daily intake of fish oil is beneficial due to the high level of omega fatty acids this oil contains. These essential nutrients have been found effective for treating such ailments as asthma, because they lower the level of airway narrowing that causes restricted breathing. Taken during pregnancy these nutrients can protect the unborn child against the development of allergies.

They are also effective in treating arthritis and gout, depression, aggression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, dyphraxia, memory, learning, and Alzheimer's. They have cardiovascular benefits, are effective in helping to control diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, and visual problems. We are here however, to talk about fish oil and wrinkles.

The skin thrives on the nutritional benefits of omega fatty acids. These nutrients greatly reduce the effect that exposure to UV radiation has on the skin, and could potentially have a major effect on reducing the incidence of skin cancers. UV exposure is what causes the formation of free radicals in your skin, which cause much of the damage that leads to the formation of wrinkles.

In order to enjoy the benefits of fish oil and wrinkles reduction, I advise you to supplement your diet with the most potent form of this oil that you can find. Probably the best grade of fish oil that you are going to find combines New Zealand hoki oil from fish located in the island's pristine Southern ocean, and molecularly distilled and concentrated South Pacific tuna. There is a special proprietary purifying process that this tuna goes through prior to distillation, which guarantees the highest level of purity possible.

In order to for your skin to receive the full anti aging benefit that omega fatty acids can produce it is a good idea to use topical skin care products that contain ingredients that are overflowing with them. Of course, you won't find fish oil inside a natural skin care formula, but what most people do not realize is that omega fatty acids are present in vegetable oils.

Not only will the external layers of your skin gain all of the same essential nutrients as with fish oil and wrinkles, but it will also receive antioxidants which are invaluable to the healing of your skin. Antioxidants will battle free radicals from the outside, while omega 3 rich oil attacks them from within. This will most certainly leave you with skin that is far less wrinkled than before.

Once you understand the connection between fish oil and wrinkles you are well on your way to healthier, younger looking skin, and the addition of plant derived omega's only make the effect that much greater.
