  1. This is youtube so everybody seems to want to be bold and argue about their true feelings. it's a lot easier than saying it to your face.

  2. This is so refreshing and you have done it so graciously. The baby oil caught my eye because it was the only product I found in conjunction with tanning that helped my eczema.

  3. I'm all for microwaves but Elle? You know what I think about mineral oil! I've done my own tests in collage and studied it. I dont listen to media. I know what tricks they try to pull....Only way to remove it is with alcohol and we know that's not good for your skin. People think they've got it off with cleaners, it feels like it to the touch, but when tested it still remains in the pores. It might take a while to notice the effects it can have but Elle please ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜– I know I'm driving you nuts with this mineral oil thing.

  4. Oh the microwave thing. They're all good but you do have to be careful to let food stand as they state in the instructions. Someone I know heated some food up in one, didn't let it stand and then about 10 mins later starting having breathing difficulties. Had to drive him to hospital in an emergency. Apparently because he didn't let it stand, the food was still cooking as he was eating it, therefore cooking his throat causing this bubble getting bigger and bigger that was obstructing his airway so he was suffocating. We just got him there in time where they had to burst it. Wouldn't do without my microwave but I'm always wary of this. It was a wake up call to not be impatient. Aren't microwaves quick enough already?

  10. I used to share a flat and one of the girls insisted in having the microwave next door in the utility room instead of the kitchen! I found it annoying as I have no problem with using a microwave. When she moved out I put it straight back!! :)

  11. Thank you, Elle! I have always used baby oil to remove my makeup and always wondered about those myths! Now I will happily continue! I like it better than the expensive remover! Have a great night! Love, Jeanie

  12. Hi Elle, I think the title of this series is great and very clever!  As far as microwaves, I have switched to glass when using them.  I think plastic containers, depending on what is contained in them, i.e. acidic foods along with heat might be harmful.  Notice I said "might".  I would rather err on the side of caution.  Bpa's have been removed from certain plastics like baby bottles but the substitute used has not been tested.  Thanks for posting all the links. Off topic but the nature sounds in this video sound like a rain forest! Love it!  Also, can't get enough of Ozzie in the pool, he is so cute! xoxo

  13. Nothing can't stop a creative mind! (Not even - specially not - controversy :). I love the ideas of these series Elle. And the title is great. I guessed right too!! Microwaves usage was in the back of mind as something I wanted to research more about so I am glad you included the link. Here is one "gluten is bad for you". Gluten and many other products have gotten a really bad reputation lately. I have been reading about it and there are many aspects to consider but I happily keep eating gluten and using my microwave....thanks for sharing Elle!

  14. Elle, I've been using baby oil for years as first step of taking off makeup.  No problems here!  Thanks for this.

  15. Microwaves do not put out ionizing radiation. You get more ionizing radiation form eating a banana than you do from using a microwave.
