ReplyDeletewrinkles and a beard? wheres the beard part?
ReplyDeleteIs there gonna be a part 2 for the beard
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteI only watched for the beard part.
ReplyDeletenot helping -_-
ReplyDelete.......ummmm, I was looking for a beard and etc, not a eye and a self promoting video with college scheduling tips. I thumbed down the vid.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful start, but, um, as you say, "We have a long ways to go..." because, yeah, no beard tutorial here. You SAY that this tutorial is about the "Spiraling Out Technique," yet the title of this video indicates that it's (allegedly) a tutorial on drawing wrinkles and a beard. Great video not what 99%+ of viewers were looking for when we clicked play.

ReplyDeleteNicely done.
ReplyDeleteType of pencil
ReplyDeleteCreating accurate tone for wrinkles is time consuming and takes delicacy with light touches combined with dark shades depending on the image. It's very impressive if you get it right though
ReplyDeletewow! i draw, but after i saw your drawings, my drawings look like what children scribble on paper.... this helped me a lot, i too usually start with the eyes, but i begin toning way too early that there will be a lot of smudges when i'm half way through the drawing.. sometimes, it is after i shade that i realize that the portrait is not in proportion, when i rub it, everything else comes off with it.. you hardly use the eraser, i wanna be able to do that.. this was epic :)
ReplyDeleteLove all your videos man, would have loved to have an art teacher/professor like you when i was at school, reading some of your replies to people on here you seem like a cool person too, best of luck in all you do, thanks for the great videos
ReplyDeleteWow i wish i can draw like this never got around to it when i was younger now im 31to late for me :(
ReplyDeleteNever too late to learn. Life may make it harder to accommodate it but you're never too old to learn if the interest is there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, but what about the beard?
ReplyDeleteOld man?? Have you realized you are drawing Gandalf?
ReplyDeleteyou should call this how to draw the eye from a oldman
