ReplyDeleteFace taping has been around for a very long time. There is a product called “Frownies” and women have been using them for decades. Since the 50s maybe? Earlier? Anyway, I use a Frownie on the II between my eyes most every night while I sleep. That little trick, plus a good moisturizer, and protection from the sun seems to work fairly well. People do not believe me when I tell them that I’m 45. The very best things we can do for our skin: Hydrate, stay out of the sun, don’t smoke.

ReplyDeleteAll its doing is stopping the creasing at that moment. As soon as you resume muscle movement during the day, the crease will reappear. It wont work long term, but as a quick fix it has some merit. Just like botox, where muscles refrain from pushing folds of skin together, lines smooth out 😊
