  4. Not sure I agree with you Lindsay... some silk leave water marks if steamed... polyester is a material that doesn't breath... so natural fabrics are so much better even health wise... most "dirty old vintage clothing" has tons more value if it's been cared for, I'm talking about the timeless pieces, then a cheap made in China dress that's lasts one washing or two if your lucky.

  6. Lindsay, don't be so wordy. GET ON WITH IT, hon. "Buy a hand-held steamer" (which we already knew) would've worked nicely. And it's pointless to advise people to pack items which don't wrinkle (something we also already knew) when your subject is HOW TO GET THE WRINKLES OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES.

  9. Steam causes mold, an epidemic right now, I got it, couldn't breathe, painful knees, hair falling out, mold spores bit me, huge rash, swollen face, distorted. I have my Tobi steamer with an open window now & that scares me. Black mold came out of the wall, everywhere! I am detoxifying w/ antifungals, enzymes, causes constipation, diabetes, leaky gut, Candida overgrowth, to name a few and my cat, Persian, died. Be careful. Look along baseboards, behind beds, around Windows.

  15. unfourtunately...I still use an iron, but its not actually that bad the way I do it though; I don't have an iron board so I use my bed, as long as you don't iron over your blaket/duvet/comforter and your bed sheets are 100% or mostly cotton, not polyester, I think its pretty safe to use your bed as an ironing board (as long as you don't leave the iron on your bed un attended) , but unfourtunately.. I'm not allowed to get a steamer since I only have 2 shirts that need ironing

  21. Why wouldn't you tell us something that doesn't cost money like I'm about to go to school and I can't go to freaking Walmart and get a steamer. Plus some of us can't even afford something like that.
