I noticed you bought one from Korea. How did you decide which one to buy as there are so many and some that are just a fraction of the cost? And, do you feel it significantly improved/tightened your skin and gave your lips m ore volume from doing the flip?

It would probably be easier if you were laying down with a handheld mirror in one hand and the plasma pen in the other.

ReplyDeleteYou need more than two rows to accomplish things. You need a pattern like a 5 on a dice to get the pull. That will give optimal results.
ReplyDeleteNot sure the number you went on eyes, but a 9 on Plamere is pretty high.
Also not supposed to do top and bottom eyes on same day, depending on how you react you have a risk of them swelling shut.
Also on the lip flip, you need to go up to the nose to get anything. They generally don’t last past the healing.
I mean if you gotta go around with those dots, might as well go all the way lol.
Ahhhh I can’t watch! Insurance doesn’t cover me as a tech on eyelids!!! Please tell me you didn’t do a 9.

ReplyDeleteWhy wouldn't you just do dermal rolling/ needling? It takes only a minute, costs $15, very little pain, same if not better results, it forces your body to produce collagen back into your face.. I'm 52, I have no wrinkles at all, I've had no botox or fillers, I'm an Aesthetician, and I can tell you that burning your skin is causing severe damage, it makes no sense at all..

ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated with, and terrified of, fibroblasting. I've heard horror stories but seen the before:after successes. I found you (and subscribed!) after doing a search for it. I tend to home treatments but this one...I'm not quite ready to jump in the deep end yet. Just a couple of notes...when I got my tattoos, we were told to keep them covered and moist so they heal. When I got microneedling (figuring it's basically like tattoo without ink) I did "tattoo recovery". Basically after the first day when you want to allow the skin to HEAL, I kept it moist with aquaphor. My ex is an ER doc who always touted moist wound healing over dry wounds. If you google it, it's pretty interesting. Keeping them moist BEFORE they scab reduces the chance of scarring and improves healing. It looks like you heal well. More a note for people concerned with it. Thanks for the thorough tutorial. Fascinating stuff!

ReplyDeleteThat pen is approved for orthopedic use. Plus alcohol on the skin with a device that cause an arac, alcohol is flammable. And im not sue but the tip should not make contact with the skin, if it goes too deep you will end golf ball divots, especially on the eyelids. just some food for thought....

But given you are having to do this at home leads me to beleive the results don't last? Am i correct in that assumption?
