Although a dermaplane facial doesn’t have the ability to remove deep wrinkles or scars, it can eliminate the fine wrinkles the can begin to develop over time. What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a safe (provided the person performing it is properly trained) and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently "shave" the skin's surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). The procedure can be performed monthly, in less than thirty minutes, with no downtime post-treatment. Dermaplaning is only performed on the face; however, it is not meant to be used to shape eyebrows, which are made up of "terminal" (not vellus) hairs. The nose is also avoided. Estheticians, nurses or doctors may perform the treatment, depending on state regulations.

ReplyDeleteDear Clarisa....what a great procedure to have in skincare routine...I would love to start doing it....I do remove some facial peach fuzz once a month with this Tinkle facial razor...to make my skin hair free..but never knew this was so helpful for our skin to do regurarly with combination of acid products....Is that Tinkle razor good enough for microblading?....You really are a fountain of amazing antiageing knowledge for us....I have taken many advice from you.....I am loving that retinol brightening mask.......thank you for all you do for us....big hugs....Jana

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry some people are judging you so harshly about thinking you have had work done on your face !!! Not many women can look as good as you at your age in fact it is rare. People who make those comments are jealous or they have a hard time believing that you are natural because your skin is so smooth. I believe you sweetie ! I know what it feels like to be judged incorrectly. Much love to you and really in the end it only matters what God thinks of us.
