Treating Upper Lip Wrinkles

While this is often a symptom of natural aging, these lip wrinkles develop much earlier in patients who smoke. There are several treatments. The first and most simple is to start a skincare regimen recommended by your cosmetic dermatologist. Unfortunately for many patients this will not be enough to address their concerns. Soft tissue fillers can help to smooth out the wrinkles and to restore the lost volume due to aging. In some patients, Botox can also be combined with soft tissue filler injections to help soften up the upper lip wrinkles. Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are well known brands of botulinum. They work well in synergy with soft tissue filler in addressing upper lip wrinkles.
