  1. I imagine it absorbs heat really fast due to the radiation trapping. Does its reflectivity change at different frequencies?

  4. argh! will ye be making portable black holes like in the cartoons? I can think of a few good pranks with it, like lacing a the other side of a corner sidewalk, so people think they be falling into an abyss of nothingness the moment they turn around the corner.

  13. So... when can I get clothes that are this black?

  14. If the material is this black, and I suppose, traps the light on its material, doesnt it means that the temperature surface of your material rises really fast? After all, the heat must be irradiated otherwise your material would start to glow red.

I can think of no better way to show this than your krinkled foil... amazing, anyone who has tried to paint a black car knows how impossible it is to hide surface imperfections.
