Fraxel Treatment for Skin Resurfacing | Dr. Jason Emer

Here, we see the patient receiving the Fraxel laser treatment, which is great for skin resurfacing, pore size reduction and can treat textured acne scars, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and sun-damaged skin. The treatment lasts between 20 and 45 minutes. The process includes multiple passes over the problem areas with microcosms of laser energy into the skin to deeply heat the skin and increase surface exfoliation. The laser works to send energy to both the surface and middle layer of the dermis, promoting skin cell regeneration and turnover.
