  2. A gallant effort, but I see where some Cordura might be easier for the DIY people (like me). That and I have made a mental note to never, EVER, buy round top stools any more. Bloody hell.

  3. Thank you for taking the time to show us! I just upholstered a stool and not too happy with the wrinkles. Can’t wait to do the other three the way you showed us.

  5. Liked, thanks. You can use a hair dryer to "mold" the vinyl.

  8. I just learned that the air holes should be made before reupholstering. Drilling into the foam caused it to bunch up around the drill bit and I had to redo everything.

  12. You’re good at this. Best video using faux leather. An electric stapler would make your job easier.

  13. Wow, you explain very well and THAT circle was perfect. . . mine would have looked more an oval than a circle. Wish me luck with my vanity stool. A bit nervous because the material is so gorgeous and I don't want to ruin it. Make a video for a rectangle stool. Please. June 29, 2019

  14. great practical step by step. I wish I had watched this. I watched others do square seats. I too like perfection and I am disappointed with my results but my wife is happy. I see why the experienced craftsmen start with tacks since you invariably have to remove some and do over to get best results.

  15. You have the best video for rounded corners, all the others I looked at they leave the corners folded which don't look that great. Thanks for the information.

  16. This was perfect to me . You are definitely a perfectionist. 😂 but great job

  17. A great instructional video. You did a great job with this. A lot of
otherwise good instructional videos (on numerous topics) leave out important information. Yours covered all bases. Great job!

  22. I agree with you 100%. I was frustrated with most of those videos which have a very bad end result. I too, am a perfectionist. Your tutorial was very helpful. Thanks.
