Like many of you I loved the new IT movie. But one thing has been bothering me since I saw IT. How exactly were the Loser's Club able to over come the master or fear - Pennywise? I mean he had plenty of opportunities to kill them off one by one. So I did a little digging, but what I found goes far beyond just their ability to survive.

ReplyDeletePlot armor is a thing in King's multiverse, it's called Ka, they didn't die cause they needed to be alive to fight Pennywise. And one or two kids with the Shine may go unnoticed, but that many? Nah if they all had the Shine, they would have being slaved, their town destroyed and their world most likely be rend asunder by the forces of the Red. They used their innate human ability to fight pennywise and most of it was assisted by Maturin, what on itselfs proves that their reality was still strong enough for Ka to be effective.

ReplyDeleteFunny enough there’s a “here’s Johnny!” Part in it chapter 2 which may seem like just an Easter egg but could very well be that form of it pertaining as his evil in The Shining
