  3. Drive around with a hugescreen strapped to the bike,, showing a Tex screen ,you'll get plenty of attention

  4. Okay here's the deal... You act like double O7 when you're on your bike and you pretend your in Russia and there's a ton of spies out there ready to nail your ass. So that's what you do you drive defensively and you just expect people to try and hit you which helps you keep your situational awareness at all times because once again you're pretending they want to get you I pretend like everybody out there has been paid $1,000 upfront of a $5,000 contract to hit me. I make it a game.
I stay safe, and I have fun

  5. 1. Same with others never assume someone will see you. Slow down before the stop sign/intersection they may pull out.
    2. Dont worry about getting wet if it starts to rain dont try to beat the cloud home...curves are very slick with just a drizzle, learned that one the hard way.
    Thanks for the video!

  6. Bike visibility: bikes are smaller and less likely to be seen than cars. It's that simple. Ride on the right side of the lane to the left/rear of a car and you are deep in their blindspot. Don't go there. Loud? Forget it. They can't hear you. Lights and bright things in the front are all that you've got and defensive riding to avoid invisibility and risk. (More and more cars have blind spot detectors, so incidents should reduce over the next 10 years...)

  7. My brother-in-law just got clipped by an Uber driver in Salisbury Delaware about a week ago he is laid up in the hospital . they had to remove some of his skull so his brain could finish swelling. Not to be gross but to get my point across on how bad yeah actually it was. . And very similar to what you mentioned . Uber driver was going to make a right and then at the last second got over two lanes to make a left and clipped the motorcycle . I completely understand where you're coming from !!!

  8. They don’t see us for many different reasons. Cell phones, common curtesy is not what it once was, people are more medicated as a whole. Keep your head on a swivel and have your counter steer down to where its second nature. Stay safe my friends and take the road less traveled.

  9. Awesome going to give this a try on the weekend

  10. Mike been riding a long time here in Texas year round. Headlights on high all the time in daylight. People see you so much better. Car drivers are looking for cars not skinny bikes.

  11. Will that VHT paint work well on an whole exhaust system? I'm thinking of using it on my bike but can it actually take the extreme heat at the headers?

  12. Been riding since 1975 (mostly Harleys for 30 years), but no more road trips or weekend rides due to texters, cell phone talkers, and distracted drivers playing with touchscreens. Now, just a few miles to work at 5 am to avoid most of the cagers for half of the round trip. Even then it's a gamble whether or not you are going to get taken out.

  14. I was riding through town and a lady coming from the opposite direction got in the turning lane and didn't see me and went to turn in front of me. She finally saw me and slammed on her brakes. She waved and smiled at me. After an expletive laced greeting back to her she was offended. Oh sorry for my use of the English language, you just about killed me you dumb @$$&○¿€..... It's sad that doing something that you love can kill you so easily because other people are so busy that they can't be bothered to take a couple of extra seconds to look. Stay safe brother and keep that head on a swivel.

  15. Brother,
You need to show how to install the loudest smallest train air horn, if there is such a thing.

  16. My advice........"YOU 'RE ALWAYS INVISIBLE ALL THE TIME!"

  17. Verry nice outcome. Really beautyfull.
About the near misses. I’ve got many of them to share.
Ones i was on the highway in the right lane just scooting along with the traffic and a guy in a car in the left lane just diceded to leave the highway.
He couldn’t overtake me because he would miss his exit, so he pushed away the car behind me and while doing so touched my rear fender real lightly. I got a bit mad and pointed behind me to convince him to keep his distance. He got mad, got on the gas and rammed my fender a second time. I started wobbeling and nearly got an accident. Then he took the exit and got on the gas to get away from me. I made the choice to let him go, because what are you going to do against a car. did get his licence plate number and went to the police. My bike was ok. Just a mild dent in the rear fender and a cracked tail light. So what i try to say is, allways be beware and never stop thinking. On a bike you’re never going to win against a road raging asshole in a big fast car. And watch out for trucks. The driver can’t allways see you and if he wants to overtake a nother truck he‘s going to do it fast because cars won’t let them get murge into the left lane.
My loud 2 into 1 Bassani exhaust has saved my life or health more then ones. Lose the stock pipes boys and girls and get some Vance and Hines, Rinehart, Samson, Bassani, RS, Two Brothers or Screaming Eagles etc... Let people wine about the noise, you’re riding a lot safer.
And you sound and look cool. Hahaha.

  20. I recently started a wearing a very high-vis jacket and have noticed a difference. I know there's a lot of people that don't think they work but guess every little bit helps. Still doesn't stop cars from pulling out in front of me but I live in Louisiana and people pull out in front of cement trucks down here, lol. Keep rocking the videos but needs some more with a "secret sause"!!

  21. Never seen the wrinkle coat before, it looks good ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I think that car users just don’t see bikers as they are used to seeing something large and car shaped, a smaller bike just doesn’t always register in their vision... just use bright clothing and helmets to give to a better chance ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ but above all, rely on your own intuition and not the intuition of others to keep you safe ๐Ÿ‘

  23. Mike, that’s very cool, your poor work bench though LOL !!! I kinda like the new blacked out Harley’s myself, kind of a trend these days!!! The people in these 4 wheelers are so oblivious anymore it’s sickening!!Almost makes you not want too ride anymore, even out on country roads you gotta keep your eyes peeled all the time !!! Glad you didn’t have anything happen Mike!! Keep the vids coming, love it my friend!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

  24. Best advice is to stay out of all cars blind spots as much as you can. Also, expect all car drivers are not paying attention.

  25. i have always found that to be most effective

  28. I have road my Harley for 45 years and I had lots of close encounters lucky I learned NOT to ride next to any vehicles.
People just don’t pay attention to other riders.
