  1. The reason the valve covers are different is because the one with the Honda sign is a JDM cover and the one without is a USDM cover. My GSR motor is a JDM spec with a Honda symbol on it :)

    Nice work!

  2. That looks good! I sprayed too heavy on my valve covers to the point where it was dripping and once it fully dried it has some huge wrinkles. I might re-do them and this time just stick to 3 heavy coats instead of using a full can on my 2 valve covers.

  15. How long do the valve cover takes to fully dry?..

    ReplyDelete
  16. ((((Use some old spark plugs to cover the spark plug holes..just cut the tubes from em so you can sit the valve cover straight..

  21. Good stuff. You forgot the primer first tho. You need that primer. It peels later on without it

  22. Akon loves you ...

but bro where can I purchase the paint remover aircraft brand. Without buying online

  23. Is there a website to buy these valve covers and interior lights gauges anyone could suggest

  24. Generally with spray paint you dont want full coverage on your first coat and sometimes even on the second depending on the color. Multiple light coats is key. Trust me. And I will usually wait longer in between each coat as I put more coats on.

  26. Is one can enough for this job? Do you think it will hold better over time if primer is used?

Waiting for the valve cover gasket to go on my 08 si sedan so i can paint it. That valve cover turned out really good, really cool gray. Flexing your skills man. Happy Thanksgiving.

  32. mate, mask it up again around the lettering and use some polish for the letters. Just rub it into the lettering.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Another way I found to remove paint from my letters, is to get some brakleen and qtips, dip the qtips in some brakleen and just wipe the paint off! A lot easier bro. But love the color keep it up!
